Panagiotis Skendros, MD, PhD, FEFIM, is Professor of Internal Medicine and Head of the First Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis, Greece. His research interests focus on translational immunology, particularly on the role of innate immunity in the diagnosis and treatment of autoinflammation and immunothrombosis. He is a member of the European Board of Internal Medicine (EBIM) and Vice-President of the Hellenic Society of Internal Medicine (HSIM).
