Mike is a Consultant Acute Physician based in Bournemouth and Poole in Dorset, UK. He has been a Consultant for 11 years, is Clinical Director of Older Peoples Services and Acute Care, completed a Masters in Medical Leadership, has a strong focus on Same Day Emergency Care, hospital flow and education of resident doctors having previously served as the General Medicine Training Programme Director for his region and was the Treasurer of the Society for Acute Medicine (SAM) from Oct 2018 until October 2025.
