Teaching activities: Healthcare economics and management, business economics and organization, Regulatory and Pharmacoeconomic Aspects, Health Technology Assessment, and Healthcare Performance.

She has taught undergraduate and graduate programs at numerous Italian universities, the Ministry of Health, CEFPAS (Region of Sicily), AgeNaS, healthcare authorities, regional governments, pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Chair of the Working Group of the Emerging Technology Division of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine and member of the OIV ULSS 9 Scaligera.

Member of the Technical Committee on Medical Devices of the Ministry of Health and member of the Independent Evaluation Body of several healthcare authorities.

Publications: Editor and coordinator of the Regional Health and Social Performance Report (12th edition in 2024) and the Health Report (20th edition in 2024), prepared by C.R.E.A. Sanità, and author of numerous national and international scientific publications on health policy, health economics and management, pharmacoeconomics, and HTA.

She has collaborated on several research projects for the Ministry of Health and Age.na.s. on topics related to the governance of medical devices, the pharmaceutical sector, and innovation evaluation.
