Jolanta Siller-Matula

Dr. Jolanta Siller-Matula is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. She is an interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary cardiac interventions. She performed more than 35 interdisciplinary studies focusing on efficacy and safety of cardiovascular drugs. Her publications (>225 peer-reviewed articles; citations>10000; h-index: 55; i10-index=135) have added to a debate in the cardiology community surrounding the use of personalized therapies. She is a leader of an international research group I-COMET with a current focus on stratified approaches aiming at optimizing outcomes with use of novel drugs and novel technologies. She is also a recognised speaker and lecturer (she gave more than 220 invited lectures) and has been awarded with more than 30 prizes for her achievements in research and lecturing. Most recently, she received the prestigious Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Award.
